PLAYSTATION PLUS subscribers will soon have a new selection of free games to try, which are coming to the PS4, PS VR, PS3 and PS Vita PSN store in January.
PLAYSTATION PLUS UPDATE
Since the PS Plus leak, there’s been a lot of back and forth between fans over the legitimacy of the image.
“The shade of yellow used on the two new games is darker than That’s You, it’s pretty evident when adjusting the levels in Photoshop. That, and the resolution of the game in the background is much lower than the crisper game covers in the foreground, argued one fan on the very active PlayStation Plus Reddit page.
“m 95℅ sure its fake – yellow frame looks like cheap photoshop, it very differs from previous months, so… Either sony hired some kid to make ads or its fake… Ill be surprised if its real…” added another PS4 fan.
Others, perhaps in shock at how decent the lineup looks, couldn’t believe Sony would be so generous to give away two top-tier games.
Despite some doubts, there’s no concrete evidence to suggest if the image is real, one way or another.
So until someone discovers something cast iron, it could be that fans will have to wait until next Wednesday before they learn the truth.
ORIGINAL STORY – The PS Plus February 2018 line-up will be revealed soon, if past months’ PlayStation Plus are anything to go by.
However, for anyone who needs reminding, PlayStation has made it a habit of releasing their new games on the first Tuesday of the month and announcing them on Wednesday beforehand.
By that estimate, we’d still be waiting until Wednesday 31st.
But good news. The first batch of FREE PS Plus games for February 2018 may have leaked already.
A new image doing the rounds online – which is either a really good fake or a genuine leak from the web – seems to show which two PS4 games are coming in February.
The image appears to suggest that the free games for February will include Far Cry 4, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and PlayLink title That’s You.
As with any leak, it’s not possible to say 100% if these games will be included for sure, however, there have been plenty of instances when such a leak has turned out to be right on the money.
Take a look at the games in the gallery below, but keep reading for a bit more information about all three.

More important than any of that is the fact Sony give away 24 PS4 games a year, completely free. And on top of that, a whole host of PS3 and PS Vita games as well, just to sweeten the deal.
So, when you think about it, signing up to PlayStation Plus is a bit of a not difficult, really.

In January fans can pick up the following games:
